From its humble beginnings in 1989, RAINIERS RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE, INC. (RRDI) has grown into one of the pioneers and recognized leaders in the field of herbal cosmetics in the Philippines. And thru the years, the manufacture of effective yet safe, high-quality herbal products has been the main drive of the company. Its personal care products have been formulated using local medicinal plants and minerals found in the Philippines such as Lawat (Litsea glutinosa), Gugo (Entada phaseoloides), Akapulco (Cassia alata L.), Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocus nucifera), Carrot (Daucus carota sativa), Calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa), Tawas (Potash alum), and other natural ingredients. This standard of product excellence has been recognized in the 27th Salon International Des Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland in 1999 for its flagship product, Lauat Herbal Shampoo for falling hair.
RRDI also offers toll manufacturing services on various products like hair, skin, hygiene and body care products for both domestic and international clients. And recently, has expanded our product lines to include baby care and pet care products, as well. To underscore the universal appeal of our products, our branded and toll-manufactured concoctions have reached countries like the US, Norway, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Saudi Arabia & Ghana.
