Company History:
Rolando N. Poderoso Jr. started selling jewelry under consignment in a small jewelry store, R & J Jewelry (formerly known as PTL Mounting Specialist), in Meycauayan, Bulacan in 1998. His acquired expertise in jewelry and great customer service allowed him to build a customer base.
With his entrepreneurial drive, he embarked on a mission to provide superior quality jewelry at reasonable costs. Soon he put up his own manufacturing facility. His efforts paid off and the business quickly expanded to wholesaling. Meanwhile, his retail operations remained profitable.
In 2011, Rolando decided to open another company that caters to the needs of a different market – government and private institutions. Metal crafts were added to its jewelry products. The company was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the name R&J Jewelry, Class Ring and Metal Craft Inc.
Just a few months after its establishment, R&J now operates 5 branches in the Philippines: Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod and Meycauayan. Its product line was further expanded to include glass, acrylic, plastic and wood.
R&J’s growing list of satisfied retail and wholesale clients is a testament to its dedication to the quality of its products and professional service.
