Profile:
Lydia Tecson-Veneracion started Bulacan Sweets in 1970 with only one shelf and counted ten kinds of delicacies from her native town of Bulacan being sold. Among these were pastillas de leche, ube, yema and candied fruits. Today it has grown to a bustling enterprise with thirteen outlets around Metro Manila, selling assorted products.
