Tide and Tribe Travel and Tours is a tour operator that focuses on themed and niched tours for those who want a more in-depth and different travel experience of Davao City.
We conceived of Tide and Tribe as a vehicle for doing, and sharing, what we love the most: exploring the beauty of Davao's marine and cultural landscapes. We believe the riot of colors you see when you dive into a coral garden is perfectly mirrored by the riot of colors created by our diverse peoples, so it feels very natural to experience them together. We want to specialize in small-scale, niche tours that take small groups on a different kind of tour.
For our first set of tours, we came up with The Must-C's of Davao--a happy coincidence of Davao specialties and attractions that happen to start with the letter C -- chocolates, cheese, clams, for example, which fall under three major themes, namely Cusine, Culture, and Conservation -- three things that we feel define and distinguish the Davao experience. These are available in two-day and three-day packages.
