Wisdom Islamic School provides all deserving Muslim learners quality education for a well-balanced life and success both in this world and in the life hereafter where pupils/students learn authentic knowledge of Islam (according to the Qurâan and the Sunnah), Qurâan and Arabic Language along with the Department of Education (DepEd) curriculum (English, Math, Science, etc.).
The Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES) is a non-profit, non-stock private school, duly recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) in May 2010 to operate pre-school and elementary education in Davao City. After two years, the School Board decided to offer high school under the name Wisdom Islamic School, Davao City, Inc. The high school department started in June 2012-2013 to offer the first and second year high school, now grades 7 and 8 under the new curriculum (DepEd 0 R DE R No. 31⢠s. 2012, April 1 7, 2012) with the inclusion of Arabic, Islamic Studies (Aqeedah, Fiqh, Ahadeeth, Seerah and Duâaa/Supplications); and Qurâan subjects.
The WISHES campus in Davao City is an offshoot of Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES) (Download WISHES Wisdom Islamic Brochure) â the first international online educational institution authorized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Philippines. The school is recognized by the Philippine government through CHED-ARMM on April 5, 2005 as an accredited institution of higher learning for higher Islamic studies (Diploma, BA, MA and Doctoral degree programs) and other degree programs relevant to professional growth, well-balanced personality and ultimate success.
WISHES-Davao City is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with Dr. Mamarinta-Omar Mababaya as President and Dr. Norlain Dindang as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. They jointly founded WISHES based on their noble goal to provide quality and relevant education to deserving Muslims for the pleasure of Allah.
