     Kali is the indigenous martial art of the Philippines which is recognized around the world for its effective bladed techniques. The words `Pekiti Tirsia Kali` can be loosely translated as `to cut into small pieces.` Indeed, PTK is known and admired for it`s deadly, efficient, yet graceful close quarters combat techniques.
In the islands of Panay and Negros Occidental in the Philippines, the Tortal clan guarded and developed their family martial art for hundreds of years.
