     In December of 1981, under the shade of a mango tree at the corner of UN avenue and Mabini Street, six people thought of a bright idea over a cup of coffee. The late Capt. Rufino Arancon, C/E Christopher P. Maambong, Ms. Celia M. de Ramos, Mr. Reynaldo Losaria, Mr. Eddie Martin and Mr. Jose Esquillo decided to venture on a journey in the corporate world of Maritime Industry. And on February 18, 1982, Brilliant Seas Shipping Corporation was born.
