Akasya BPV, Inc. was formed as a spin-off of the Akasya Mindanao Group. The group traces itâs history to the establishment of the first Angliongto company in 1917 which established one of the first shipyards in Mindanao. The team of Akasya BPV was initially organized to manage the Samal Shipyard of the group and part of their thrust was to develop a high quality steel fabrication business that would complement the yardâs skills and strengths.
