Profile:
     It all started back in the mid-1980’s. No, not Zest Power Gym, but the circumstances that led to its creation. It may come as a surprise to those not in the know, but Zest could be called a sibling of the UP Powerlifting Club. These two teams, now the bitterest of rivals, are both progeny of the former UP Varsity Weightlifting Team (UPWLT), of which I am proud to have been a member and former Team Captain.
