Profile:
     Silay Hope Baptist Church started to exist as a house church when a handful of believers gathered together in the house of Mrs Teodora Libo-on in Tres Fuentes, Silay City. It was formally established as Silay Baptist Church in June 1951 when after the evangelistic campaign of Reverend William Hopper , about 35 members built a wood-and-nipa structure along Rizal Street going north.
