Asian Appraisal Company, Inc. is the pioneer in property appraisal and valuation in the Philippines and throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. It was established in July 10, 1961 by American Appraisal Company, Inc., the largest and oldest appraisal company in the United States, together with prominent Filipino bankers and businessmen such as Albino Sycip, Sixto K. Roxas, Ma. Jose B. Fernandez, Cesar de Zulueta, Jose D. Caluag, and Arthur J. Chanin.
In 1981, affiliate companies were established in Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, which came to be known collectively as The Asian Appraisal Group.
Initially focusing on the valuation of real estate and machineries, Asian Appraisal began adding intangible assets, business valuation, and consulting services to its service offerings in 1990.
Today, most properties of the top 5,000 corporations and the top 40 richest individuals have been appraised by Asian Appraisal. We are the accredited appraisal firm of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Securities and Exchange Commission, Philippine Stock Exchange, and several commercial banks and government financial institutions. Multilateral organizations like the Asian Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, World Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development have likewise engaged our services.
Foreign projects have been undertaken in China, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Bangladesh, Australia, U.S.A., and Brazil. Foreign investors have likewise tapped our services to guide them in their investment decisions in the Philippines.
