In 1994 Christina Lim,a trained pharmacist and MBA graduate from Singapore founded Ocean Health Lab Inc in California with a vision to improve the quality of life and self esteem of family members and friends, using her professional training and experience to find the right formulation to alleviate common health complaints and skin problems.Having learnt the ropes for identifying FDA certified quality manufacturing, from raw materials to product shipment in the United States, Christina returned to Singapore to build the Asian chapter of Ocean Health. In 1995 Ocean Healthcare (S) Pte Ltd was born with 2 staff members and "Minus Fat", the diet management supplement. The rights for distribution, and subsequently ownership of the skincare range, Therapeutic Dermatologic Formula (TDF) came soon after.
