JEMAR Engineering Services is a full service Structural Engineering Firm based in Cebu and established in 2008 by JERRY B. MARATAS, a Civil/Structural Engineer, to address the demand of structural engineering services in the design and construction industries. Engr. Maratas serves as the principal civil/structural engineer of the office.
JEMAR specializes in providing professional, complete and responsible Structural Engineering Services. The design philosophy of JEMAR is focused on creating a structural system which is SAFE, ECONOMICAL and SENSITIVE to client needs. Each project receives careful attention to ensure the best possible result is achieved.
JEMAR is a totally independent firm with no affiliation, direct or indirect, to any contracting or manufacturing organizations. The company’s office is situated at Units 201 and 203, Garnet Place, M.L. Quezon St., Cabancalan, Mandaue City.

At JEMAR, our goal is to add to the built environment in a way that is architecturally pleasing, environmentally prudent, and serves to protect the safety and welfare of the public. We strive to work on projects that are challenging, complex and artistic because these are the qualities that stimulate us as structural designers. We provide engineering and technical solutions that are responsive to our clients’ needs in a safe, innovative, cost effective, professional, and quality service manner. The laws of physics and mathematics are the tools we use to push the boundaries of creative structural design.
