It introduced to the Philippine market hi-tech polymer products, all of which were manufactured by E.I DuPont de Nemours, & Co., Inc. of Wilmington, Delaware, USA.In 1979, Vema was given the exclusive rights for the processing of ADIPRENE, a trade name for DUPONT polyether urethanes. (DUPONT later sold the business to Uniroyal Chemicals which in turn was recently cquired by Crompton Specialties, Inc.)
