Profile:
Claret School of Zamboanga City was established in July 1966 as an exclusive school for boys aimed at providing secondary education for young boys who were aspiring to become future Claretians Fr. Ignacio Blanco, CMF, was the first director with Mr. Pedro Domingo as principal. It was opened to first and second year boys during its first year. In 1968, with Fr. Miguel Vela, CMF as director, the school was converted into a co-educational institution with a new lady principal, Ms. Nelida Barrios. Fr. Luis Rey succeeded Fr. Vela as director of Claret School of Zamboanga from 1970-1976. the high school principal during this time was Ms. Pacita Sta. Teresa.
