Profile:
     Acadsoc (also known as Academic Society) is an international online one-stop shop for languages, academic subjects as well as services. It is a platform that enables tutors and learners to come together to learn and to teach. The Acadsoc community is made up of students of all ages (from primary school to adults) and tutors from a variety of backgrounds (such as professional teachers, graduate teachers and social teachers). Acadsoc aspires to become the world’s largest online academic society offering the most comprehensive range of courses. Acadsoc was seeded with RMB 1.1M in June 2011 and recently it has successfully raised another RMB 21M from two major privately owned companies in Asia.
Job Summary:
Teach English to our Asian students (from primary school to adults). An excellent full-time package (of Php15000 to 17000 per month) will be offered to the right candidates depending on qualification, teaching experience and performance. (Fresh graduate are also welcome but the payment package will be a bit different)
Requirement:
- Candidates must process a college degree or professional certificate (in any field)
- Certificate related to English teaching is highly preferable (TESOL, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL etc)
- Expect 2 years English teaching experience (online or offline)
- Excellent in English speaking (neutral accent), good grammar and vocabulary skills.
- You are willing to work full-time (from 1pm to 10pm with one hour lunch break) 5 day work
week with 2 week day off, or part-time (at least 4 hours a day and 4 days per week)
- You have good internet access, so that you can work from home during those working hours
