     The Early Childhood Care and Development Council (ECCDC) was created under the Office of the President pursuant to Executive Order No. 778 Dated January 13, 2009. It is mandated as the principal agency to support the implementation of the government's early childhood care and development programs such as health, nutrition and early learning for children from age 0-6.
