Profile:
     In 1966, VARIFOLD ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTS was established as a single proprietorship by Architect Cesar S. Vergel de Dios. At the suggestion of a friend, he designed a folding partition that could be pushed aside or closed with very little effort. It caught on very fast in a market looking for quality local products to substitute for the expensive imported ones. Clients ranged from home owners to offices and restaurants. In 1969, when the converted garage of the family home in Pasay could no longer accomodate the growing demand for Varifold folding partitions, Arch. Vergel de Dios put up a building in Makati to house the shop and offices.
