     AMERICAN FREIGHT FORWARDERS, INC. by origin is American Express Forwarders, a sole proprietorship operating then as a domestic forwarder way back in 1979.Due to the ever growing demands in the forwarding business, the management decided to increase its capitalization and sought the approval of the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to operate as a corporation. Fortunately, in February of 1986, the company was incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission as American Express Forwarders, Inc. and simultaneously given approval by CAB as a corporation. From then on, it operated as both domestic and international forwarding agent.
